What does KaraokeList do?
It keeps the setlist of songs you can actually sing, logs how each night went, and its crystal ball suggests songs you don't have yet — each with a one-line reason. It also maps karaoke bars near you and the nights they run.
How does the crystal ball pick songs?
It reads your setlist, your star ratings, and your too-high, just-right, too-low answers, then suggests songs you don't already have. Every pick carries its own reason, and the reasons come from different signals — where your voice sits, an era you keep landing, a song you rated highly, what a whole bar will sing along to.
Can I tell it what I'm in the mood for?
Yes. Guide the reading: set how far from your usual you want to go, pick the decades or genres you feel like, or just type what tonight calls for — “something to close the night on”. Turn the dials as long as you like; nothing happens until you ask.
Where can I find karaoke tonight?
Open the map and KaraokeList shows karaoke bars near you, along with which nights each one actually runs — so you can find karaoke near you any night of the week, not just the ones somebody remembered to post about. The listings are kept up by the singers who were there.
Can I keep a karaoke song list of what I can sing?
That is the heart of it. Your karaoke song list holds every song you can genuinely pull off — tag each one for skill or for how the room takes it, star it after you sing it, and flag the ones you would rather never sing again. Searchable in the ten seconds before your name is called.
Does KaraokeList show song lyrics?
No. Lyrics are licensed by publishers, so the app won't print them — and won't let a model improvise them either, because a made-up line is worse than none. It links out to your browser instead.
Is there an Android version?
Yes — KaraokeList for Android is on Google Play, and it is the same app: the same setlist, the same crystal ball, the same karaoke map. One subscription covers both, so a phone swap in either direction keeps what you paid for.
Is anything shared?
No. There are no social features and no sharing. Your setlist, your nights, and your readings stay yours.
